Duolin Respules combine two bronchodilators—levosalbutamol (a selective β2-adrenergic agonist) and ipratropium bromide (an anticholinergic agent)—in a sterile solution for nebulizer use. This dual mechanism provides rapid bronchodilation and mucus clearance in patients suffering from moderate to severe asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each 2.5 ml respule delivers a precise dose of both active ingredients, and the formulation is free from propellants or preservatives.

The respules are intended for inhalation only. To use, twist open a single unit dose, empty the contents into the nebulizer chamber, and dilute with normal saline if instructed by your physician. Breathe the mist deeply and slowly through a mouthpiece or mask until the solution is gone (usually 10–15 minutes). Do not swallow or inject the solution. Adults typically use one respule three to four times daily; the dosing may be adjusted based on severity of symptoms and response. Children and the elderly may require lower doses. Avoid exceeding the prescribed frequency to minimize risk of side effects.

Duolin Respules provide relief of acute bronchospasm caused by asthma, COPD and other reversible obstructive airway diseases. The combination works within minutes, improving airflow and easing breathing. Common side effects include dry mouth, tremor, nervousness, headache, palpitations and throat irritation. Serious reactions such as paradoxical bronchospasm or hypersensitivity are rare but require immediate medical attention. Patients with cardiovascular disease, arrhythmias, glaucoma, urinary retention or prostate enlargement should use caution and be closely monitored. Do not use Duolin Respules if you are allergic to β2 agonists or anticholinergics.

To avoid interactions, inform your doctor about all other medications you are using, especially other inhaled bronchodilators, beta-blockers, diuretics and monoamine oxidase inhibitors. Duolin Respules may not be suitable during pregnancy or lactation; consult your healthcare provider. With proper use and medical supervision, this nebulized therapy can provide rapid relief and improve quality of life for people with obstructive airway diseases. Learn more at Duolin Respules.
